Virginia Health Quality Center
(VHQC) is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Virginia
. By partnering with health care
professionals VHQC works to improve patient care for the state’s almost
one million Medicare beneficiaries as well as other target groups.
VHQC is a not-for-profit
organization who works closely with health
care professionals to implement successful and meaningful
changes to the way health care is delivered. We create partnerships,
develop methods and evaluate outcomes for
quality improvements that result
in healthier communities.
The combined
quality improvement efforts of our partners -
nursing homes,
hospitals, and
physician
offices
and many other health care professionals,
consistently demonstrate a measurable impact on the quality of health care
delivered to all Virginians. To see our
