Welcome to VHQC’s Medicare consumer home page

VHQC, as the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for the Commonwealth of Virginia, works collaboratively with Medicare, health providers and health care practitioners to improve the quality of medical care delivered to you or your loved ones. We provide assistance to people with Medicare health insurance, their families and caregivers. We can help you find a nursing home, learn about health topics, learn how to exercise your Medicare patient rights and more.
